6130/NK702 internal antenna mod.

Hi & thanks for reading,
I have an old phone (Nokia 6130) that is unlocked to T-Mobile. I use it
still mainly as I have the full Nokia Carkit for it. Its looking a little
worse for wear & I have been looking at replacing the covers on it. Quite a
few of the websites that I have been looking at have a Rear-Half Housing
with Internal Antenna. I was wondering if any of you have ever used one of
these? Was it easy to fit? What was the signal like before/after?

Why not replace it with a 6310i..? The car kit should still work, the
connector is the same. I'm assuming the CARK-91 kit..? Mine works fine
with a 6150, 6210 or 6310i.

Thanks for the info Ivor,
I'll see if my local Nokia Dealer does refurbished ones, I don't want to
spend a lot of money (cheapskate!) as my old phone is'nt really broken, just
showing it's age.......Good to know the CARK-91 is still supported, I have
one of them in one car & a plug&go handsfree in the other.
