My husband has a metal plate in his pelvic bone (the results of a nasty
ultralight crash last year).
I just bought him a nifty little Nokia 3560, which gets great reception
until he places it on his belt holster.
Any suggestions? Do I need to have our service provider switch him over to
analog? If so, what services will I lose?
If you reply by email delete NOSPAM in email addy!
TIA!

Are you sure it's the fault of the plate? Does it work fine when
you use it in a belt holster? Is he putting it in the holster with
the screen facing him (and the antenna facing away from him)?
If not, try it that way. (My holster doesn't have a window ...)

Re: Metal Plate interferes with reception: Nokia 3560
The problem occurs only when he's wearing it in the belt holster. The
screen faces away from him--maybe I'll start by shopping around for a new
holster of some kind. He likes the swivel kind... Thanks for the
replies...I'm not real good at this whole electronics thing.
