Puh..... my 6310i just gives me all the needed satisfaction. I only have to
dial my own phonenumber. With a 6250 you can DIM the light without damaging
    the phone.

    Mmm, interesting.

    > Maybe that's where this myth started.

Well, I'm not sure. I've already heard of that with early 5110s, so I'd say
(from memory) 1999. At this time, it was just bull****.

I haven't been away long enough for this to go away yet then. The more
things change, the more they stay the same.

We need to make phones more lethal for these people

True. Damn, I'd never thought an icon could have such a long effect. This
old myth of the speed trap detector would last so long...

    > We need to make phones more lethal for these people

Well, you can with a Nokia (or any other brand) : there seems that bootleg
(or aftermarket, not Nokia genuine parts) batteries can explode by
themselves. I've heard of two cases, one being in Sweden, one in Holland. I
was suspicious about such critical parts, I need to change my 3310's
battery, I'm gonna go for a genuine Nokia battery.
