Nokia 8250 sort phonebook by name ?

Hi, just one other question, how does one sort the phonebook listing by
name? I seem to have them mostly out of order on the second name i.e.

Peter mobile 1
Peter home
Peter mobile 2

How does one fix that? I guess the phone only does a sort on the first name
i.e.' peter' and not on both first name, secondname etc

As far as I remember this model doesn't have separate "first name" and
"second name" fields. Am I right? If so, the only you can do is to change
Name field by retyping names as "first" + "last".
Or if you imported the contacts with PCSuite (from Outlook or other
sources), take a look at our Oxygen Phone Manager II - http://www.opm-2.com.
It can parse contacts as "First name" + "Last name" and has highly
customizable import.

Hi Oleg! Thanks for the reply. Yes you are right, the 8250 doesnt appear to
have separate name/surname fields. When you mean "first" + "last" .. you
mean a string concatenation? I.e. I should put in:

PeterMobile1
PeterMobile2
PeterHome
?

Im looking into the Oxygen software. Thanks for that!

In this case I just meant changing the order from "LastName, FirstName" to
"FirstName, LastName". Sorry for putting "+" sign and misleading you ;-)

If you'll import contacts from Outlook with Oxygen Phone Manager II, see
"Phonebook"->"Import&Export" options and select the "Import format" as
"First_Name Last_Name".
