Unless your network supports CSD the answer is no. Does T-M support
    CSD in the UK?

Yes they do, and I can send MMS and view WAP pages no problem using my free
    minutes.

the phone may already have the dialup settings in, you just need to tell it
to connect via a different set of settings. go to settings, connection
settings, access points. see if there is one for CSD access instead of GPRS.
If not - make one. Then go to services, select options, settings, default
access point. set that to connect via the dialup settings instead of the
GPRS settings. then try and connect, and wait 10 minutes while it dials in.
if this works, fine, if not contact T-mobile - you either need new settings,
or they need to stop playing with your account, and enable it for data
    calls.
