Hi,
Do you mean your message centre number to enable you to send text
messages? If so, your service provider will happily give you that via a call
or their website. Enter it somewhere in Messages/Settings and it should be
sorted. I am guessing that the americanism 'mailbox' may have confused them!
Cheers,
Martin

No - I mean the number I enter when I want to have calls diverted.

Well that's a Vodafone code, so assuming your provider is Vodafone, the
mailbox No is 121 (on PAYG anyway)
Mike.

I know that - it's when I want to divert my calls, it asks for a Voice
Mailbox number
So what should I put - before I had a normal number to put in!

Re: Finding my mailbox number
oh, dang, I had this same damn problem with some 3rd part mob that used the
Optus network !!
They were charging me $5 a month for v/mail, and when I went to try get my
$$$$ worth and check my messages I got the same recorded msg asking for my
m/box number.
I complained till I was blue in the face regarding these charges, and it
wasnt till I threatened legal action I got a call from someone over there to
oversee my problem.
The voicemail service had not even been activated on my account.
call you ph company and scream blue murder down the line(or politely ask),
request the service to be activated on your account.
Hope this helps.
Dave
