    How would I remove the T-Mobile Germany's customization that is present
    on my 3650? Ringtone, Background picture, "t-zones" etc. should all
    disappear.

    You can't unless you get a Nokia Service Centre to flash it with different
    software (unlikely)...

    So it's not as easy as installing a File Explorer to the phone and
    deleting some files? Arghh...

    you could certainly find the files with a decent file explorer, but they are
    probably stored on the ROM 'drive' and hence undeletable.

    IMO, since you are basically wandering around with an advert for them, they
    should pay you for it. I know which provider I use, and don't need to be
    reminded every 5 minutes. I hate any form of provider customisation, if
    something can be customised, it's up to the user to change it, not the
    provider.
