help with 8310 usb cable

Hey,
I'm stupid and cant figure out how I hook my phone to the data
cable. Can someone please help me.

its not sitting in and it keeps asking for the sim card

sounds like u got an 82xx cable, 8310 cable is different ....and didnt know
8310s come with a USB cable?!?!

if its the one which you remove battery to fit, remove white sim card holder
