Hi all,
I just got a 7650 and am impressed with it apart from a few minor (well
major) bugs, the sms messaging app crashes when i try and write a message,
no error or anything, just returns to the standby screen. This is very
annoying as the message is not saved in the drafts or anywhere. And no, I am
not accidentally hitting the red button, if i look at the "task manager"
there is no messaging application open. Also, it seems to dislike my pocket
as whenever I take it out a message has appeared saying "phone will restart"
however i still need to take the battery out and restart manually. I would
appreciate any help or suggestions you can give. Would a reflash solve my
problems? I have software version v4.39, are there any later ones? And, is
there any way I can increase the memory? Is it possible with the 3650? Sorry
for all the questions but there is a lot I want to know!
Thanks in advance,
Alex

Not sure about specific bugs or software versions but a reflash should cure
the above. before that however, have you tried a hard format? *#7370# all
data will be deleted, the phone as factory fresh. can sometimes cure some
software faults.
No way to increase memory in the 7650, there are some compression apps that
claim to double the available memory, but seeing as the phone crawls along
anyway, I haven't bothered yet. Memory is expandable in the 3650 by way of
MMC cards up to 128MB, but I'd suggest going for a 3660 - the same but
updated screen and normal keyboard, or a 6600.
