Re: N GAGE any good?
There are some good games available on MMC, with more in development... if
you like mobile gaming, it's pretty good. Works pretty well as a standard
Series60 Nokia device, too - all the stuff you'd find on a 3650, minus the
camera.
Sadly, you'll have to look like an idiot when people call you

The choice is yours.

You could just use a BT headset, but you still look a bit of a plank, or the
HDD2 headset.
I got mine for the FM radio and MP3 player/audio recorder (honest).

It's an excellent idea, but there are too many design flaws to recommend it.
Firstly, to change game cards, you have to switch off the machine, remove
the back cover, remove the battery, remove the old game, put in the new
game, put the battery back, put the back cover back on, turn the machine
back on and wait patiently for it to load back up...
Making a phone call on it is pretty awkward, and makes you look pretty odd,
www.sidetalkin.com for examples.
There is no maunal volume dial, so you have to have a game blast out music
at you while you go though the menus to change the volume levels.
The screen is portrait, not landscape like on Game Boy Advance, which is
quite nice for vertical shooters, but pretty annoying in most other game
genres. In Sonic N for example, you can't see where sonic's going at all,
you can't see ahead much more than where sonic is standing due to the
portrait display.
Most crucially, the current selection of games is pretty uninspiring. It's
mostly poorly done ports old PSone or Game Boy Advance games. There isn't
much on the horizon that looks like it will rival the best the GBA has to
offer either.
All in all it's a nice idea, very poorly executed. I'd suggest buying a
different phone and a Game Boy Advance SP, it's not as convenient, but far
more functional. (The games are much better too, try Advance Wars, Golden
Sun, Final Fantasy Tactics, Wario Ware, Inc. and Super Puzzle Fighter II
Turbo)

The PSP won't be out for a very long time. Live in the present, don't sit
around waiting for the next big thing...

Re: N GAGE any good?
I have no idea on a release date, nor do I care as I don't want either.
Im too busy "living" no time for gimmicks.
