Hi. I have recently bought a Nokia 7250i phone which is brill except
for one problem.
I want to be able to upload midi tunes and download pictures from it.
For that I required nokia pc suite which I downloaded the latest
version.
I use a laptop and an infared port which is active as I have used
pda's in this before. I know it is working as I can upload my address
book from mobile to laptop BUT when I try to upload a midi file the
upload button is greyed out.
I have changed all possible speed connections to the infared and still
no joy. Any ideas??

By downloading your address book do you mean you managed to use the Content
Copier to copy your phone numbers?
The easiest way to upload midi files to your phone is to go to the Nokia
Phone Browser, double click on your phone icon, double click on the gallery
folder, then the Ringtones folder... all your custom ones are in there. You
can just drag and drop midi files onto it like any other explorer window.

Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. Sorry I did mean the content
copier.
When I go into the phone browser it only displays folders and no
files. I can try to put them in but I doubt it will work. I'll give
it a go this weekend.
Any more info off anyone please?

There are alternatives to PC Suite that are dedicated to doing this - take a
look at MobiMB (there's a demo on the web site):
