    Hi,

I've just got myself an N-Gage but like others, am having probs using the PC
Suite that came with it. I understand that there's a known problem
concerning using the program with Win98 (basically you can only use COM
port1 if using a USB cable to connect phone to PC coz it won't recognise any
other port *and* you can't use anything else (ie modem) on port 1 apart from
the phone). But, can anybody answer the following for me please:

    1) Is it going to be worth buying a bluetooth adaptor for my pc and if I
do, will I have any further problems????

    2) Is there any other programs apart from LogoManager that I could use. I
have heard about Oxygen but haven't done a lot of research into it. All I
really want to do is download MP3s to my phone - I'm not bothered about
    changing logos/screensavers etc.

BTW, I don't want to change to XP before anybody suggests it, even though
    I've heard I won't get the above conflict(s) if I do.

    TIA
    Netty

Have you installed the Audio Manager software that was supplied on the CD?

You can transfer MP3's to the N-Gage through this. Also when you plug the
USB cable into the N-Gage you should see an extra drive in windows explorer.
This allows you to drag & drop anything you want on to the N-Gage

    Re: N-gage query

If all you want to do is put MP3 in, insert a MMC into the phone
32/64/128 mb, connect the phone to the computer via USB port,
if your computer has the correct drivers, it should automatically
see the MMC as a removable storage device, if not.. try seeking
the driver in the installation disk I think it comes when you install
that music application on the disk. once you get that done simply go to
my computers, open the removable drive, open Music folder then
digital folder, put MP3 in there then n-gage will play (after you disconnect
    the USB cable)
