Nokia 3210 showing a number 2 in the top left hand part of the
display. It can receive calls but can't make them. The SIM works in
    other phones.

Phone was stripped down by myself to replace a non-working LCD panel
    Repaired but now 'faulty' again!

Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is?

    Thanks.

Press and hold the # for a couple of seconds and see if it says change line
if it does change lines and all should be o.k
