Hi,
Could someone please tell me the pin out of the 2.5mm 4way plug
commonly used for hands free on the 3310 3510 range of phones?
I have a hands free car adaptor which works rather well on on the
received audio (good clear audio volume), but it is entirely lacking
any audio from me, when I try to make a call. I have pulled the unit
apart and can't see a microphone inside at all, so my intention is to
try to fit one.
Incidentally, I have just bought a second one.... A rather cheap one
marked '4 in 1'. The audio volume on this was pathetic although the
audio in does seem to work. It uses the speaker as both a speaker and
microphone, although their is a microphone supplied and a socket marked
'mic' on the side to plug it in plus a socket on the front for a
earphone/mic to be plugged in.
On opening up this unit, I found the socket for the mic was just that,
a socket. The socket is not wired up to anything.... No wires, no where
on the PCB to connect the wires, even if there were any.
