3510i very quiet on audio output (talk)

3510i very quiet on audio output (talk), so if the person talks, it is difficult to hear. I cannot find a way to increase the volume.

Any ideas?

My 3510i is quiet on both ring and audio. You can adjust the audio
volume during the course of a call by pressing the up/down buttons,
which are just below the screen. The setting will be retained.
