Make phone calls, send SMS messages... all sorts of stuff. In fact,
everything that you could do before, with the addition that you can use SIMs
from any operator.

If you don't know what to do with your unlocked phone it wasn't really
recessary to unlock it! Now you should lock it immeditely before
somebody steals it!

No -- now you can use your phone with every other mobil
telecommunication operator. A locked phone can only be use with the
operator where you bought the phone. If you don't have a SIM card of
an other operator or you don't want to sell it, the unlocking of your
phone was senseless...
