Is there any common reason for my 6310i to keep switching off (around 1
hour) The battery is charged and is good for 7 days normally. The phone
keyboard is usually locked so nothing is touching the on-off button. The
phone is only 7 months old and this is the first problem stating two days

Thanks

some 51xx,71xx,6210, 6310 had/have a switching off prob ( see the pattern,
all use same type battery)
by putting a small foam sticky pad ( the type u get if ya buy a facia for a
phone ) under the battery, on or near the sticker with the imei number on it
usually sorts it out, makes the battery nice and tight.
Not saying this is definatly your prob but it is certainly worth a try
before having the hassle of sending the phone back etc etc...
