Re: does the n-gage come unlocked
Yes it comes unlocked. I spend an hour or so on Sunday investigating. If you
are going to order, click through Wireless World site
http://wirelessway.blogspot.com ( He is an affiliate for GameStop and I
figured might as well give the little guy some credit) You will want to get
through GameStop because the EB Games deal, to get the $100 off, you check a
box saying that your agreeing to a TMOBILE activation. Even though nothing
is filled out, you do have to check a box that says TMOBILE Activation to
get the $100 taken off the invoice and it is VERY VAGUE and I didnt want to
have to deal with some kinda crap later about activating a number. And since
the box is checked and they have your Credit Card number, could be the
beginning of a battle I wasn't comfortable with. But Game Stop was cut and
dry with NO number activation mentioned, and that convinced me.
I just ordered one for me and one for my son. At $199 for an unlocked
TriBand GSM Phone with Bluetooth, GPRS, and Color Screen, MP3 Player and FM
Stereo radio, well I think you get the point. It really is a killer deal.
And I double and triple checked, YOU DO NOT have to activate a number. So
there ya go.
