nokia 252 Security code

I dug out my old Nokia 252, and wanted to sell it, but I noticed that I had
put a security code on it... I tried the factory default of 12345, but that
was not the correct code.

Can someone tell me how to reset the phone so the factory default code will
be set. I don't care if it erases everything in the phone (actually, that
would be a nice thing!)

i do not know if it is the same, but on my 6560 i called and asked
attws for help and they do not have it's "programming" how-to's in
their books yet, so i use the *3001#12345# which i saw posted here
from someone for a different nokia phone and it worked, so try that -
"it worked for me"! you enter it like you would dial a #, then it
instantly switches to programming menu
