Hey, all. I have a Nokia 5180i Tracfone.

It's my only phone, so it's usually sitting on the desk next to me.
Occasionally I will see the light is on, pick it up to look, and see
the power is coming back on. But, back on from what?

It was sitting perfectly still, and repeated shaking of the phone and
moving the battery around do nothing, so I think it has good contact
    with the battery.

This only happens 2-3 times per month, or, at least I only <notice> it
    that often.

Any reason for a phone to cycle like this?

    Thanks, all.

Try putting a business card, or 2, in between the battery pack and the phone
(but not up where the contacts are of course).

Go to Walmart and get a Belkin Leather Case for your 5180i. They fit the
best I have seen for the 5100 series phones and only cost like $7.

    Hope this helps.
