6610

Hello,

I have a some problems with my (09-2003) Nokia 6610.

- when i press the numbers, the display blinks.

- very often, the display go on, and there is nothing happening, no sms,
data or call recieved, the 6610 is on the table.

- i can not connect the 6610 with infrared to my laptop, the laptop see the
6610, but when i click continue, i get the code: 800.43.208


Have somebody a solution for these problem, post the answer(s) !!!!

Hello,

I have the same problems, blinking keyboardlights and spontainious display
light.
It seems this is a common problem. Soon I am going to a Nokia Store for this
problem, maybe repair.

i've got the same problems, my 6610 will be going back for a firmware
upgrade very soon!

Hi,

For the blinking keypadlights, I was thinking of a hardware problem (damage
on the PCB). This problem is present from the beginning, not all 6610's have
this problem.

Do you know/have you heart if this problem can be solved by a new firmware?
Do you also have V 4.74?

i was thinking it could also be just a dodgy connection on the pcb.
I've had my 6610 since new, its got firmware V4.74 and made 05/03. I'm
not 100% sure whether or not this 'keypad lights' problem is a
firmware bug.

just thought i'd update you, i have just phoned one of my local
service centres and they say it could well be a software bug. I'm
popping up there tomorrow to get it sorted hopefully.
