Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me with something.
I have had a 3410 for about a year now, I have had to have it repaired 4
times now at nokia as it is still under warranty.
The last time I took it in I asked for a new phone. But to my dismay, they
returned the phone,
saying that it had 'Slight water damage probably caused by humidity from my
pocket or a bag'.
I have taken the phone to two repair shops, both quoting me on a broken LCD.
The spymptoms on my phone are that the LCD displayed only half of the
screen, and sometimes it comes on,
sometimes it doesn't.
I have opened the phone up myself to look around, but am not sure how to
check for Water Damage.
Could anyone guide me on how to check for this, or maybe direct me to some
webpage that will explain
repairs to various cell phones.
(off topic, sorry, but I dont know where to post this)
-* If a cellphone gets stolen (prepaid, not contract), is there anyway you
can trace the phone, maybe
by using the IMEI number, or anything similar???*-
Thanks for all the help, and an AWESOME forum
phil
