    Hi,
this question has been asked before, but I haven't found any working
solution in previous posts, so maybe there is new information available now.
The problem is: how do I access the internet via an IBM Thinkpad (with
Win95) and a Nokia 6150 with infrared connection? The phone has been
detected by the infrared status monitor, but I don't know how to build
the WWW <-> mobile phone <-> infrared <-> laptop <-> softmodem chain (I
think that would be the only way to get it working). It's not necessary
that the whole thing works under Win95; Linux would be fine, too.

Does someone has a solution or a hint for me? The WWW sites mentioned in
previous postings are offline now, and I haven't found any other hint.

    Thanks in advance,
    Oliver Gerlich

    hi!

you need to (somehow in the prehistorical w95) "add a
    new connection" where
you put the needed info, phone number to call etc...

i use w2000 and it's really no problem to make the
    connection there :-)

    cheers,

The 6150 has no modem so needs Nokia Cellular Data suite v2 or v3, it's a
commercial program so is not available as a download from the Nokia web
    site.
