3650 - Nokia ManuF Date

Hi all
anybody know if its possible to tell the manuf date of a nokia from the IMEI
number ?
reason I ask is Somebody has just given me a 3650 that won't power up
properly so cant do the usual *#0000# and so to check wether still under
warrenty need to know the manuf date so can take it to nokia service centre.
m8 says he thinks it under a year old, but before I take it and find out its
proberly 2 yrs old and make a prat of myself self, it would be handy to
know..

Thanks for that but as stated above " it won't power up
properly" so cant do them either..

hey Lister,

you're barking up a wrong tree, mate. First 3650 shipped out in March
'03, and most of them ony hit the shops round about May or June this
year. So there's absolutely no way it's over a year old, more like six
months. Hope that helps...
