Question regarding WLNP

I have a question about how WLNP will work. I'm currently under contract
until January. But I'm wondering what happens to my account if I port my
number in December. Does porting necessarily close my account? I wouldn't
mind paying the monthly charge for an account with no phone number attached
to it, since it's less than the ETF. Thanks in advance if anyone knows.

Once the number is ported, the old account is deactivated.

Re: Question regarding WLNP

Sorry John. While it might seem reasonable to allow you to pay your account off
Through January, SprintPCS is only too happy to have an excuse to charge you an
early termination fee should you leave before the end of your contract. After
all you might have used 1000 roaming minutes in January....

This is a misrepresentation of facts- You can not have a customer being
charged twice for the same phone.

That statement is the misrepresentation. I said no such thing.

=============
I do not work for SprintPCS
I can be honest

is that a sufficient disclaimer for you Scott?

Sorry, Phil, but stating that "While it might seem reasonable to allow you
to pay your account off Through January," indicates that a phone can have
charges on two different accounts in the context of the original thread.
YOU misrepresented a 'reasonable' solution that is not available anywhere.

More like the disgruntled ex-employee. I know where you were going with the
first post.

Nobody's doubted you *can* be, Phill.

It's whether you *are* that's under advisement. Actually, no, it's not. Y=

You mean Philippe. I think he worked for SprintPCS. I think now he is
unemployed and has had nothing better to do than slam Sprint PCS for the
last couple of months. If his real identity is ever discovered, I am sure
he won't be working in Telecom in the future.
