#1 | | Guest | So there I am checking my SprintPCS information on their new improved
website. First thing I check was Expiration date of my contract, or as
they call it PCS Advantage Agreement.
Yesterday it showed the date I believe it to be: July 2, 2004.
This morning, the same website shows it to be July 15, 2004.
Luckily I have printouts of both.
SprintPCS is not allowed to unilaterally change the expiration date,
and by so doing has nullified my contract, so I am now free to leave
via WLNP on November 24 with no Early Termination Fee or ETF,
as I have no contract.

Out of curiosity, do you have an add a phone on your account, which might be
showing the second date listed above?

Speaking of which, I just noticed that SPCS is listing my AA expiration
dates incorrectly on their web site. On all three phones, it's show as
12/12/02, which should actually be shown as 12/12/03 ... Methinks this is
one more programming error that needs to be corrected ...

And perhaps you would be willing to post what URL you used to get your
termination date from?

What is the URL? All this posting and no URL. I have never been able to
find the contract expiration date on the web.

I think that mistakingly posting the wrong expiration date DOES NOT
change the contract. The date on the contract did not change!
A contract is a contract & a FYI web site with a mistake is just that.

Log on to your account... Go to "My Phone & Plan," then "Plan Details."

There are many activities which reset your expiration date in the billing
system even though they shouldn't. Happened to me when I moved my service,
happened to my mother-in-law just this past month.
According to Rob V, it's due to the setup of the billing system. Which,
in my opinion, makes the system broken and in serious need of fixing. Sprint
PCS is asking to get hauled into court.

SPCS's billing software changes the contract end date on many occasions
when it should not. I've had it confirmed that this is a billing systems
issue by O/Siris and by phone reps at Sprint.
I don't really have many issues with SPCS, but this is a big one. They
did it to me when I moved, even though my plan didn't change, because the
system *forces* them to treat a move as a new activation. My end date got
pushed back from the end of this month to next July.
When we have some time to go to the nearest Sprint company store, since my
wife needs a replacement phone anyhow, I'm going to talk to the manager and
insist on getting a phone subsidy since we had our contract extend without
our knowledge or consent.

Ah, they have a new site, much faster. It never used to show before on my
plan details. But it does now and it is correct.

Typical dishonest bull**** from Phillipe. "Call cancellation when you have
no intention of cancelling."

#15 | | Guest | I had a 2 year Advantage Agreement for the new phone credit. Now
I can seek a new 2 year Advantage Agreement for the free PCS to PCS.
You can not do both at once.
