From your Sprint PCS Vision phone please try the following:

    http://www.planetringtone.net/test.htm

(linked to default.gcd which points to a MID file)

    http://www.planetringtone.net/default.wml

    (linked directly to MID file).

PLEASE GIVE ME THE EXACT ERROR MESSAGE IF YOU GET ANY, AND IF THE LINK
IS THE ERROR OR THE PAGE LOAD.

    Thanks in Advance!

I'd be very afraid to do something like this
    from someone I don't know.

Wouldn't be prudent with all the virus and worms going around.

when you're site is complete I'll think about it.

    <SNORE!!!>

Maybe you're are afraid or simply unsophisticated. You can go there
first with a browser and see that there isn't anything there other
than an HTML and GCD text file along with a MID.

Tom, the REAL site is complete http://www.itsmycellphone.com

I am trying to figure out a way to format the gcd or wml file so
    SPRINT USERS can use www.itsmycellphone.com.

I know how to create server objects using FSO. I just don't know how
to properly format them for SPRINT PCS users.

What a very... interesting... way to try to get users to=20
    your site.

    OSIRIS:

The site is not open. When it opens, there will be no mistaking it.
The fact remains that we can't provide our service to SPRINT PCS users
because of some arcane technology their browsers utilize, making the
direct downloading of MIDI files impossible.

I guess I'll just go out and get a Sprint Phone and use it until I get
the programming done myself. Then, of course, I'll return the phone.
It's the long way around but this forum seems to be focused on
conspiracy theories, petty jealousies, paranoia, outright bad
    inference and the like.

Besides, based on the web stats, most of the newsgroup users here that
have been going to the aforementioned web sites are Brits or Asians.
    Not the target market.

THIS FORUM IS MORE TROUBLE THAN IT IS WORTH!!!

    Adios.

It appears not to be *too* arcane. Xingtone, 3GUpload,=20
SprintUsers, matrixm... there are quite a number of sites=20
that have accomplished it. Have you been to the SprintPCS=20
    developer site?

    http://developer.sprintpcs.com

Maybe, after you register there and check around, you can=20
find out what you're doing differently that isn't working?

Maybe you won't, since you've declared this "forum" not=20
worth the effort. So be it.

I am currently using 3gupload. do you have links for the rest of these. I
will probably find out googling them but figured to ask just in case.

thanks for the link too. Hoping it tells me how to make my own site for
rings and images. I want to make my own persona site so I can catalog and
    orginize everything for my phone.
