Absolutly no one ---- but I know futility when I see it. And standing back
hollering "TROLL!!!" and then feeding it smacks of futility (and stupidity).

So, if you're cruising down the hiway and someone is pissing you off do you
get after the other driver to make them aware of your anger? If so, where
does it stop? With one of the two cars on its roof burning? Both of them?
For an intelligent person you're not making much sense, Bob.
And you might reaccess your approach anyway due to the sucess you're having.

Look, bicker with the fool all day long --- for as you so aptly point out it
is indeed your right. But as you're sitting there mapping out IP's and the
like, spending lord knows how much time doing it, ask yourself what the gain
is. I know what the answer is, in this case.
But you should keep in mind that since this is the Wild West I'll be
dropping constant reminders that you're feeding the troll, "grand poo-bah"
or not. And since you don't like it I'm really sure the incidents of my
reminding folks that they're feeding a troll will escalate heavily over the
next few weeks.
Just think of is as one of those destroy the village to save it kinda
things ---- much like you and several others are doing with your oh so lame
approach.

Well, the gain is that we know who he is, and if we are indeed lucky,
he just might tone it down and become a normal netizen, if such a
thing is possible.

Guns on each hip, we are ready to roll, but I do believe in the chance
that we won't have to fire them.

Ah, a bunch of BS. What you advocate is letting the devil live in
your home because you don't want to do the leg work to kick his sorry
ass out.

Extremely poor analogy above Tom. We are talking about electrons here, not
cars.

We'll see. Phillipe, Steven, whatever his name is, may tone down his act. If
he doesn't, well, there are some folks at AOL that might want to know why
he's been using those alternative ID's, or putting unmunged email addresses
within the posts to solicit Spam for those email addresses.

Haven't spent that much time at all. Everytime of post of his comes by with
a new ID, the info goes into an Excel workbook. Takes about 30-60 seconds to
do ...

Go for it. It's your right, just as much it's the right of the others here
to go after his lies, inneundo, and half truths.

So, if this is so lame, what's the next step? Someone hires a couple of guys
named Big Nose Tony, and Bartillouci Da Blade to visit Houston? Until
Phillipe showed up, this was a nice civil place. All he's done is trash it
with multiple crap posts under multiple ID's.

Wanted to say that you've done yoeman's work on this ---- outstanding work.
Can't tell you the smile you brought when I read your post on the subject.

I'm hoping not. It makes the mind weary trying to figure out if a post is
from him, what the point is, etc.

I suspect you're right on this, in my case at least. As I said before, I've
never seen such a self-important goofball in all my years of looking @ NGs.
I think my next best step is to chill, let y'all work him as y'all see
fit --- and hope that it works.
Once again, _excellent_ work on uncovering Steven's sorry ass ---- you are
indeed the man!

Hmmm, wonder if this could fall into the identity theft realm?

You're a better man that I --- and what a shame that someone, anyone, has an
excel file that covers one knucklehead's actions. ARGH!!

After chillin', and seeing Tom's work, I think we'll let time dictate the
next moves. My thots, of course, were to take away his ammo --- but that
fool would fire into an open crowd without provication, so standing back and
hoping that he'll stop probably aint all that bright, either.

I think you're right about Houston ---- wonder what his tie to simetra.com
is? He recommends them highly.
