Does anyone know of a program that would enable me to make my own ring tones
using MP3 or Wav files
that I have stored on my computer.
TIA for any help you can give!!!

Record or convert the *.wav file to 8Khz. 16bit mono.
Then get this software and convert the *.wav to the *.qcp format.

software and then convert your wav file.
Then upload the converted file to any of the many sites that allow you
to download files to your phone.
