I am down to the final 2 survivors in my new phone selection. Can anyone
help me decide who to vote off next? I'm down to the Sanyo 810 and Samsung
600. I like my current samsung 400 but am leaning toward the Sanyo.

None of these are SPCS phones, unless you mean Sanyo 8100 & Samsung 6000.
The 8100 has received quite great review here in this group. This is not to
say the Samsung model is worse, but Sanyos do get more positive reviews
here.

Re: Sanyo 810 vs Samsung 600
I have to say my 8100 is a great phone,
I don't really use or care about the camera , so it isn't a factor for
me, I like the fact that I don't drop calls at edge of service like I
did w/ the A-500
My 02 on it.

Re: Sanyo 810 vs Samsung 600
My wife has a Sanyo 8100 because it's lavender/pearl, and I have a
Samsung A620 (VGA1000) because I can put it in field test mode
(menu-8-1-0-040793-1) to look for cell sites. Both are fine phones and
based on my limited comparison have equally good weak-signal ability.
They have the same Qualcomm MSM6xxx-seried chips. There are slight
differences in the size, the sound quality, and the menus, but you'll
have to evaluate them for yourself. I know little about the A600 except
that the A600 costs more than the A620 and has no outside display, but
the A600's two halves and camera rotate. Read the user reviews on
www.phonescoop.com, if you haven't yet.
