The OC Register (California) has released their annual carrier test
comparison and Sprint PCS came out on top. They picked 25 popular
places to perform test calls such as Malls, beaches, freeway
interchanges, etc. Heres the grades they gave each carrier:

Sprint PCS B+
Verizon B
Cingular/T-Mobile B
AT&T GSM B-
Nextel/Boost Mobile B-
AT&T TDMA C+

Last year they gave Cingular an A- and Sprint a C+.

Interestingly they used an LG 1200 phone for Sprint which many have
said is one of their worst phones.
