Sanyo 5150 firmware

Can someone tell me what the latest version of the phone firmware is?
and How to/ menu commands to check it?

Without going into huge Detail, I think I might need a firmware upgrade,
and can't seem to find in my manual how to tell what
version I have.

The manual won't say which Firmware version you have. I'm not familiar with
the Sanyo 5150, but most Sanyos will have a menu option for Phone
information, and then select Version.

As for the current version, it looks like it's Sanyo 5150 - 1.109SP, which
can be located @ http://tinyurl.com/39m6o

The current PRL is 10021.

You will see your 5150 Version and PRL number under:
Settings...Display...Version.

Menu -> Display -> Version

My firmware is at 1.106SP and my PR is at 10017. When I call *2 it doesn't
update my PRL, but I never have coverage problems so I don't really care --
I know the newest is 10021.

Thanks Jeff,

My PRL is up to date, But recent problems are making me wonder if a
software upgrade, or a New phone are in order, or would fix the problem.
I too, am at 1.106sp for my firmware.
