Howdy Steven;

Do you have a link for those free incoming calls plans. I only found one which
would qualify since it's unlimited peak and night time for 200 bucks a month,
unless wer're talking the unlimited walkie talkie "direct connect" time.

No, and my information may be old. I do know for sure that they USED to
offer unlimited incoming cellular. I'll have to go check Nextel's website.

Found them!

Nextel Free Incoming plans are what I was talking about. Go to the website,
plug in 92307 as the zip code and check out the list of plans.

This, specifically, is the list of plans for Nextel's San Diego market,
which includes San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Barstow, and the Victor
Valley (which is where I am).

I was in a sprint store today, looking at a 5500 and when I went to
the *2 playing with the account details, it surprised me to find in
the usuage details, a line labeled "unlimited incoming minutes" or
something to that effect.
The account name was "store demo" account

As I mentioned, I believe I have seen recent posts of fokks somehow
having them added????

Hi Steven;

I saw a few of them off one site, not the nextel site, Unfortunately I
didn't keep the link.

Going from memory they seemed to be the higher end plans, and I didn't have
time at the time to check out all the stipulations on the plans.

Those aren't bad deals if there are no added stipulations on the incomming
calls free. I like.

"Nextel Free Incoming Plans - All incoming calls are free. Includes Anytime
minutes, Nationwide Long Distance and Unlimited Direct ConnectSM. Plus,
receive Unlimited Night and Weekend minutes when you purchase either
Unlimited Nationwide Direct Connect or Unlimited Nationwide Direct Connect
w/Two-Way Messaging."
