Re: text message
At the moment you need to log onto Vision and go to messaging. From there
you can send and read incoming text messages (known as shortmail with
SprintPCS). True text messaging is due out this month.

Shortmail. An online function that has a "GUI" to it that=20
makes it appear very similar to an email program. But,=20
instead of email addresses, you use phone numbers.
A few people have mentioned a newer, phone-originated SMS=20
much like what the other carriers offer. The Sanyo 8100=20
will *not* upgrade to that service. Even after it's up and=20
running, you will continue to use Shortmail.

Once we launch the service, yes.

Dang, forgot to add: Until then, you still use Shortmail. =20
The newer service seems to be on track, right now, to=20
launch later this month. You're supposed to receive a text=20
message informing you once it's active.
