Not for this newsgroup specifically Nita. J.D. Cooley will do a Cellular FAQ
that he posts every so often, but that's more technical about how the system
and phones work and doesn't specifically address each carrier.

Thanks, I was wondering was PRL was. I have read in other threads that you
can call and have it updated, but I don't know what it means or if it's
something that I need to do.

You might need to, if you've been with SPCS for over a year. Current PRL is
10021 and it can be updated OTA (Over The Air). You might also check the
following URL to see whether you have the most recent firmware for your
phone ... I want you to click on the following URL and then bookmark it/make
it a Favorite, so that you can reference it in the future.
    http://www.sprintpcsinfo.com/modules...showpage&pid=9 Look
up your model, and when you check your version numbers, if it's not up to
date, take your phone to your local SPCS store and get the firmware /
    software version upgraded.

    Ought to be, but ain't.

My FAQ on data over cellular is dated, but occasionally useful.

Hmmm... I wonder if it needs to be done.

    Should one be set up?

    Should one be set up?
    -----------------------------------------------------------

We talked about doing it 3 years ago or so, splitting up certain subjects,
i.e.: phones, coverage areas, etc., but no one could spend the time to do it
or put it together. If anyone had the interest to try it again, save for
Phillipe, I'd say go for it.

Well, I don't know if I can get the time for it. If anyone has ideas,=20
though, I'll at least entertain them. I've setup a free email account=20

If certain malicious parties don't attempt to mailbomb it, or "un-mung"=20
it to permit spambots, then I'll see what I can do.
