I currently have my old Sprint phone on e-bay. Is there anything I need to
do so that my information does not follow the phone. I already ported my
number to AT&T but I did notice on my phone it states my name still. Any
    suggestions?

    Thanks,

You ported your service to ATTWS? Good luck with that, as they have been
receiving the most negative press and comments from their customers.

As to your question, you need to go into the security section on your phone,
plug in the last 4 numbers of your cell phone, and wipe out the phone book,
    and the call history logs.

You didn't mention what model phone you have. If it's a camera phone, you
may want to wipe out all pictures, screensavers, etc.

    Re: Ebay Sprint Phone

On Sprint phones, you can have any phrase appear as the "greeting". It
can be your name it can be "Sprint PCS", or anything. Look in the
phone's menus for where to change the greeeting (such as Settings |
Display | Greeting), and then you can delete it or put back in "Sprint
    PCS".

Take Bob's advice on clearing the other settings. But there is no easy
way to clear your old phone number from appearing if the user looks in
the menus for the handset's phone number. That won't be cleared out
until a new user activates the phone and SPCS programs in the new
number. The phone no longer uses your old number, but it can still
    display it.

Most gadgets have a master reset function IE wipe memory to factory
    defaults.

sprint "might" know this but you might end up having to contact the
    manufacturer (sanyo etc..)

A SprintPCS company store could get the phone reset to have the phone
number 000-000-0000; but you would need a friendly rep to do that
    service.
