What is the code sequence for clearing the samsung A500 to its new
state? This is a SprintPCS A500, and I plan to cancel my PCS service
and sell the phone once my phone has been returned to its like-new
state (I don't want my downloads or phone book to be present on the
phone). I am cancelling service since they can't seem to get their
roaming act together (SprintPCS must not be liked or partnered with by
any other cell institution). My new US Cellular phone roams with
    practically perfect ease and efficiency.

I used the 038 code from the testmode code sheet I found on the web,
but the A500 does not recognize this code, unfortunately.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    David

See page 39 of your phone's manual. Menu-Settings-Security- <lock code,
usually last 4 digits of phone number> - then 4 to erase phonebook and 5
    to erase downloaded content.

Also, see the replies to today's thread entitled "Ebay Sprint Phone".
