Ok, So I bought a new phone, and it has ready link. I needed a new phone, so
I figured why by one without the newest technology, right? Now, I want to
use it, but I don't know anyone who else who has a ready link phone. How can
test this thing out?

I would never buy a ReadyLink phone if I didn't have a definite need for =
it.

What are you going to do with it, ready link complete strangers? You're
not that bright, are you?

You'll just have to wait till the opportunity presents itself.
Just ignore the snide remarks from these clowns.

Two separate issues:
1. If you want to use it its $15/month
2. if you dont want to use it:
(a) Turn off ReadyLink in the Setup and batteryLife
is greatly improved between charges
(b) The Speaker for ReadyLink makes for an excellent Speaker
Phone for hands-free use.

He didn't say he was getting it to only chat with you idiots that he
don't know...he just wants to make sure it works before he gets 4 months
down the road and then gets the chance to use it and its broke...then
can't return it to the store for replacement...so IMO he is smart ;-)

He had no projected future usage for that feature. Not smart.
Ready Link costs extra, so unless you have money to burn, you get
it only if you see a definite need for it, usually because you're a
member of a work crew.

Re: Ready Link Test
My company pays for it, so what do I care if it's extra. In my opinion it is
not smart to buy outdated hi-tech gear. Why would I not buy a ready link
phone? In a year, most people will have it...

I woulda done the same thing he did, got that, and the service feature
to make sure the phone works 100%, you can always drop the service right
after...then at least you know if it works right or not before the
return time is gone.

Re: Ready Link Test
I think everyone started out that way, when they get a new phone. I just
got one and I use it for defferent things and the readylink I haven't
used yet so I know how you feel.
