I just came across these SuperTones ( I guess that's what they are
called because they are .MP3 files with real audio and not "Poly
Ringtones")
Some of them are off the hook! Just wanted to share them with you.
http://www.primetones.com/personalpa...ters-Ringtones
I think you can cut and paste the URL above to get to the site.
Has any one found any more cool ringtone sites? One's with the MP3
files?
Thanks!

So, why didn't you tell everyone here that your post was an advertisement
for your website and to sell ringtones?

Re: Have you heard these New SuperTones For Sprint PCS subscribers?
Thanks for the heads up! http://primetones.com has tons of real tones super
tone or whatever you want to call them. really they are mp3 ringers but they
sound GREAT not the beep beep stuff you normally get.
The cool part is Primetones is working with the artists and record
companies.
Primetones.com Rocks and Sprint ought to do a deal with these guys.

Why would anyone pay $1.99 for a 20 second version "in the style of",
when the full original song MP3 could be purchased from iTunes or other
online service for $0.99 And then edited down for use by SnapMedia or
other.

Re: Have you heard these New SuperTones For Sprint PCS subscribers?
easier said then done
I tried snap way to much hassle! I'm not much of a techie..
One thing I like about primetones is that you can make your own tone and pop
it up to sell in their gallery.
Tons of people are selling their own ringtones there. Just make sure it's
your creation they won't post pirated stuff.
Not the same top 10,
lots of jazz, comedy etc..
primetones is not itunes .. yet, but I did see they are starting to sell
mp3's
Big difference is they level the playing field ,anybody can create a tone
and sell it to their fans or friends there...
That's why I like http://primetones.com check it our for yourself.
Go make a ringtone and post it there, it's pretty cool

Thanks for the tip on 3Gupload.
Are the files on 3G upload legal???????
They said I had to make a donation of 5 bucks or something if I wanted to
download a file.

You do in order to access the download "locker" on your PC. =20
But once you've placed a DL in that "locker," you can=20
access it on your phone and DL it.
The webmaster there is supposed to be working very hard at=20

Sounds like distributing the artists work before getting permission to me.
That works for some people I guess.
They do have good forums but I'd hate to get into trouble downloading stuff,
they're working hard to someday get, besides five dollars per download is
to steep

It's just a one-time donation. Then you're free to use it as much as you
want.

Rachel
let me get this straight,
You mean I could download like 10,000 ringtones and I would never have to
pay anything else ever?
Is that what you're saying?

Yes, but they are not all polyphonic.

As far as I know. I've downloaded 5 or so and it hasn't asked me for
another donation. They might want another donation in a year though.

Has anyone ever had any trouble with 3GUpload doing things like
selling your email or phone number? I can't find any privacy info on
the site.
