I actually have two questions.
1. I have the wireless web connection package. I have a Samsung M100 and
can connect to the internet at 14.4 is there a faster conection available
using the same phone, or do I need to buy a Wireless card to speed up
connection?
2. I use my Pocket PC to surf the web, and would like to be able to send
faxes also. The two programs available seem to be KSE Trufax and BVRP
Winphone Pocket. Neither of these seem to work using the following options
in regular or data/fax mode:
Don't wait for dial tone
Dial area code number
They seems to want an international dialing code, or are waiting for the
dial tone. Has anyone gotten this setup to work? My dialup connection
works fine except as mentioned in item 1.

SPCS offers Vision which is considerably quicker, however you need a 3G data
phone to access Vision. In addition, it's a different billing format. For
WW, it costs $5/mo. and you use your minutes in your plan. With Vision, it's
$15/mo., but no minutes are used. SPCS does offer wireless PCMCIA cards, but
there are certain limits you can download on the consumer plans. If you can
qualify as a business account, you can get unlimited Vision for $80/mo. You
should check out www.sprintpcs.com and check out the options on both the
consumer and business sides of the service.

So, you are connecting your M100 to your pocket PC via cable? You will need
a new cable to connect your new 3G phone with your Pocket PC.
As to faxing through Vision, it seems the only way to do that is through an
online Fax web service. At least I haven't been able to figure out how to
dial out my Sanyo 5300 via a USB cable to my laptop to dial a number other
than the Vision connection number.
There are more qualified users here who use a Pocket PC (I don't).

Re: Data and Fax Question
You know, I did check the site and could not find anything that explained it
as concisely as you did. Thanks.
