At least in my area SW Ohio, it appears PRL 10023 is being pushed out.
A call to *2 resulted in the automated message that to the effect "Sprint
    has an upgrade for you"
When it was done, I went from 10021 to 10023!

Anyone have any specifics yet on what is being added/deleted from 10023?

Not being pushed out for RL2500's in Texas.

Someone previously reported it was to incorporate Qwest's wireless system.

I always try to get more info before I upgrade to make sure that areas where
it works now, still will work after the upgrade. ;-)

That's because Qwest specifically requested you not be added to their
    service.

It worked fine for me. She told me that she didn't see that an update
was required, but of course I explained to her that I would like it
anyway, as I might roam in a QWest area. Only downside was that she
gave me incorrect information to power cycle my phone to recieve the
updated, she failed to inform me that I needed to call *2 again to
actually get the update. I didn't bother to fill her in on that.

My 3588i downloaded automatically Mon. morning when I called *2. Probably
    cause I am on a F & C America plan. My friend's 3585i didn't download
    automatically on a regular F & C plan.

I also have the F&CA add-on (not the actual plan). They did not flag me
for an update until I called them. In the past, my phone has never been
flagged. My Wife's phone remained at 10018 until I called them to flag
    for an upgrade to 10021.

    Bob,

That's what I was originally told but I've obtained new information
that it might not be the case. The only solid info I know for sure is
that adds digital roaming in parts of Colorado and Minnesota.

Re: PRL 10023 is being 'pushed' out

I received a text message from SPCS yesterday, excitedly touting a new
service upgrade that I could receive just by dialing *2. I'm a
realatively happy SPCS customer, but call me jaded. I've NEVER been
invited to get a PRL update before. I'm skeptical. Why do they want me
to have it so much? (BTW I'm on a FC&A plan.)

    From link above:
    -----------------------------------------
    -Dual-Band:
    10023 Released February 9, 2004:
-Includes, or raises in priority, yet more digital roaming, mostly Verizon,
and adds some of what appears to be former Qwest cell sites.
    10021 Released October 25, 2003.
-Initial reports show that more CDMA digital roaming is available with this
    PrL.
    ---------------------------------------

Would be nice to know if there are any new 'negative entries in these
things. I don't mind them adding things ( SID's ), just deleting things.
    ;-)

Well I hope that's the right info on mountain wireless. I think that
info might have come from me though. Now I'm not so sure it is
correct. It does add some new digital roaming & international roaming
but nobody has been able to confirm the Qwest additions yet.

If the PRL's help people why then are they being kept secret
and only pushed out to a small subset of SprintPCS customers.
