Hi, I'm a new member of this forum. I wanted to let you all know that I run a 100% free ringtone site. I promise it's free, no ads even. The site is really only for Sprint users because all the ringtones are QCP. (QCP is the format for the sound files that Sprint Phones use). There are no MIDI (polyphonic) ringtones on the site. ONLY QCP, which sound way way better. Some phones may not be able to download them, and you'll know when you try.

The key here is that you have to be a little knowledgable about surfing on your phone to get to it. The site does not work from your PC. So, grab your phone, go to the wireless web, and press your menu button (this is usually the first button below the right side of your screen). Then find an option that says "Go to URL..." or something like that (you may have to go to "More options..." or something like that first). In the next screen type http://www.apawapa.com. That's it. I promise I'm not selling anyhting as many other people that advertise on here do. I just started this site so me and my frieneds could have cool ringers.

I would also greatly appreciate comments and suggestions about the site. Please PM me if you have anyhting to say about it.

AND FINALLY, if you don't see a song on there you would like, PM me and I'll do my best to get it into the request section as soon as time permits.

    Thanks and enjoy the site.

Can someone list which phones handle QCP sounds as opposed to Midi?

I was hoping to find something by the Chipmunks amongst your sounds.
    Maybe I'm the wrong generation.

I just have a quick question,
Are the files you offer licensed from record companies etc..
or are they your own creations. Also do you collect our phone numbers?

    Thanks
    Franklin

Do you collect our phone numbers

The Chipmunks, eh? LOL, and in a good way. I've got the original=20
    Hampsterdance on my phone.

So far as I can determine, every Vision phone will accept QCP=20
    downloads.

    I work for Sprint PCS
    I *don't* speak for them

Franklin - This site is for fun basically. I'm not making any money and I'm not taking numbers (I don't even think that I could get them because on the counter statistics the only thing I get is IP number, and since it's a wireless network, I dont even get the correct location). Because it's mainly for me and my friends and then whoever wants to get some ringers, I'm hoping I don't need a license. Most poeple have these songs on their computer, but don't know how to make them into ringers. I *HOPE* I don't get into trouble... if there is anyone out there that is knowlegdable on the subject I'd am very interested in finding out if I am dramatically breaking and laws. Otherwise keep enjoying the site and let me know if there's anyhting you would like to see on there.
