I've had Sprint for many years now.
    Have upgraded service 3 times.
    Still paying the same $30.
Haven't had trouble with CS or my contract.
Had a little trouble when Sprint first came to Chicago with dropped
calls. Now system is built out and everything is fine.

Have used phone all over the country. Of course it doesn't work
    everywhere.
You need to buy service from a company that services your area. My
son has to use Nextel in his area.

Using same phone. One replacement battery.
Just keeps on ticking. And ringing.

Only one complaint. Still paying $30 a month, but governments (local
and Federal) keep adding fees and rasing taxes.

    Advertising suggests otherwise.

Some of those are entirely S[print's doing. i.e. excessive Portablity
    recovery fee.

I've never seen an add that says we have coverage everywhere.

Although it doesn't appear in print specifically, SPCS's coverage map
for FC&A does in fact suggest that there is coverage virtually
    everywhere wireless service is available.

Speaking of which, I can't seem to find the F&CA map on either the consumer
or business web pages. What I did notice is that the regular national
network shows coverage for 240,000,00 users, and the F&CA explanation says
    280,000,000.

How about the Sprint PCS website?

    http://www.whysprint.com/thenetworkdifference/

    " The Network Difference
Wireless service is only as good as the network it runs on. At Sprint,
we built ours from the ground up and made it the most complete,
all-digital wireless network in the nation.
Why is this important? Because many other networks are a patchwork of
different systems trying to work together. And that can result in
unpredictable service. Sprint is different. All your voice and data
services work the same wherever you go on our network.
Today, the enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network connects more than 240
million people. Over 20,000 individual cell sites all across America
ensure that your signal gets through. "

And just where does it say that coverage is everywhere in the text you

It must feel so bad to be such a lonely and disliked individual Phillipe.
It's cool that you want to speak out against Sprint.. no problem. That's
not what I take issue with. It's just so sad to see a human that has so
little going for them in life that they have to use SprintPCS and a
newsgroup concerning them to actually give you something in life worth
waking up for. And as mentioned this has nothing to do with your criticism
against SPCS. It's your relentless pursuit of making others unhappy so they
can join you in your pathetic bubble. You can probably blame your mother
and/or father (if you even had/have them) on sheltering you so much when you
were a child. Parents should be held accountable for treating kids the way
they do that makes them turn into unhappy adults that have no goals and no
purpose in life. I'm so sorry for you Phillipe. Take care.

I'm sorry you don't want people to know both sides of Sprint PCS.

Don't address Sprint PCS undertrained CSRs that can't do their job due
to 6 minute strictly enforced handle times with upsell quotas. Don't
discuss the horrendous billing software. Don't discuss ever increasing
hold times at 800 numbers. Don't discuss the trick 14 day "free" trial.
Don't discuss that decent coverage maps as promised by
the Industry's "Consumer Code" still don't exist. Don't discuss that
Sprint's advertising never mentions the holes in coverage of the
inability of 1900 MHZ signal to penetrate buildings. Don't discuss
Sprint PCS failing to honor warranties on cell phones, but having secret
lists of phones they will replace "if you complain". Don't discuss that
Sprint 3 months into Number Portability still tries to tell people it
take 3 to 5 days to port a number when the FCC said it should take 3 1/2
hours. Don't discuss a handful of Blind Sprint apologists using
obscenities rather than discussing the above issues.

I am not unhappy. I have VERY sucessful adult children and a very long
    happy ongoing marriage. Sorry.

Just make someone else the issue, when the issue is

    The Yankee Group
    JD Power
    Consumer Reports

Each have repeatedly rated Sprint PCS ==worst== for Customer Service of
    the six major cellular carriers.

I was about to ask the same thing. As for the F&C America plan, that
map shows all the roaming partners with the plans, too, not just
    Sprint PCS coverage.

Knowing both sides is fine, as long as both sides are represented by facts,
    and not outlandish, trolling opinions.

    >

A fabrication- a link was posted last month that gave independent proof that
    this is a lie.

    > Don't
    > discuss the horrendous billing software.

Which is a common complaint among ALL cellular companies, and not specific
    to Sprint.

    > Don't discuss ever increasing
    > hold times at 800 numbers.

But nowhere near as long as some other national providers.

    > Don't discuss the trick 14 day "free" trial.

You mean the 14 day trial period that is clearly *****ed out in the service
agreement? The same 14 day trial period as all of the other providers?

    > Don't discuss that decent coverage maps as promised by
    > the Industry's "Consumer Code" still don't exist.

They exist- your expectations of this are totally unrealistic, as witnessed
by your ranings on this with no technical solution.

    > Don't discuss that
    > Sprint's advertising never mentions the holes in coverage of the

Can you point me to the carrier that does advertise this stuff, because I'm
    not familiar with them.

    Don't discuss
    > Sprint PCS failing to honor warranties on cell phones, but having secret
    > lists of phones they will replace "if you complain".

Please provide proof of a secret list- this is the 15th request for this
    information.

    > Sprint 3 months into Number Portability still tries to tell people it
    > take 3 to 5 days to port a number when the FCC said it should take 3 1/2

Can you point me to the carriers that are handling all of their port
requests in 3 1/2 hours, because I'm not familiar with them.

    >Don't discuss a handful of Blind Sprint apologists using
    > obscenities rather than discussing the above issues.

To discuss a topic, questions should be answered and not ignored. It is
impossible to have a discussion with someone who ignores all questions, and
purposely misquotes in an attempt to sound superior- these are your traits,
not those of the people who try and engage discussion. And your use of the
word apologist loses a lot of its meaning when you call the same person an
apologist for three separate companies with no connection to each other.

There you go, Phil- each item addressed, and now the ball is in your court.
You say you are holier than the rest of us because we can't 'discuss' an
issue. Simply calling me an apologist won't cut it this time.

I'd still like to hear why he went to ATTWS and then ported back to SPCS.
He's been asked that question how many times now?

Speaking of the F&CA map, do you have a url for that? I've been looking for
