I have encountered two issues when attempting to edit and/or upload a
ringer to my 8100 using SnapMedia. The program connects fine and is
able to read contacts from the phone via SnapMedia however:

1.) cannot seem to figure out how to get SnapMedia to save an edited
MIDI clip... in other words, only what is between the two markers
(start and end). No matter what I do, SM seems to just save another
copy of the entire MIDI file

2.) when I try to upload a ring tone to the phone (MIDI format), the
upload progress bar begins and the phone changes to "Downloading" mode
(on the phone's display) however at approx. 30% +/- on the Snap Media
progress indicator, I get an error which asks me to restart the phone.
No matter how many times I do this, I get no further.

Can anyone help me to please resolve both of these issues.
