Datapilot, with SnapSnyc cable?

I have a SnapSnyc two headed cable for use with my A500.

Can I use it with the Datapilot software? I like the look of this
software more than that of theSnapSnyc, and I don't have to use MS
Outlook.

I'd rather not have to buy another cable.
