I'm considering an upgrade to this phone. Currently, I have a Kyocera
6035 Smartphone. Sprint will sell me the phone for $450,after
rebates, in exchange for a new 2 year contract. For those who have
the phone, I have some questions.

    1) How is it as a phone?
    2) Does the speakerphone work?
    3) Do you miss the Analog Roaming feature?
    4) Can you access your MS Exchange office e-mail?
    5) Can it browse the net?
    6) Can you edit word and excel documents e-mailed to you?
    7) Has anyone used Citrix for the Pocket PC on this phone?

Thanks for the responses in advance.

If you have Vision, Sprint charges $15/month extra for its use on a
    Microsoft phone.

If you travel outside of cities and have need of roaming capability,
you wiull sorely miss not having analog roaming. If you live in a top 15
city, and dont travel, you'll never miss it.

I don't have any experience with it myself, other than holding it=20
long enough to answer "How do I...?" questions about it. But there's=20
a whole forum dedicated to G1000 users at PDAPhoneHome:

They should be able to answer your questions.

From what I hear it's pretty good, it's just large.

    > 2) Does the speakerphone work?

It works as well as the Sanyo line speakerphones, not a full duplex
(which would be pointless since the network only supports half
    duplex).

    > 3) Do you miss the Analog Roaming feature?

    Do you use it?

    > 4) Can you access your MS Exchange office e-mail?

I **THINK** you can with Sprint PCS business connect, and/or
    configuring the Pocket PC Outlook.

    > 5) Can it browse the net?

Yes, large screen is great, just few applications won't work well,
like trying to log into AOL to check your email etc..

    > 6) Can you edit word and excel documents e-mailed to you?

Yes, it comes with Pocket Word and Pocket Excel.
