After reading many postings, I felt a need to post my feelings. My
family has been with Sprint for over a year now and I am very happy
with their service. It works great for us. CS has always been
helpful and knowledgable. I haven't really needed much from them as
our service has always worked great. I do use Vision for email and
such. I have also used Cingular and T-Mobile. Sprint is much better
for us than the other two. I travel only in the continental US. It
always works fine where I go. If one is unhappy with the service,
just move on to another one. However, you will probably be unhappy
with them also as you are probably just a complainer. I also want to
say thank you for the postings of the Sprint employees on this
newsgroup. You are a big help and are going above the call of duty to
post here and help. I am sorry you have to go through the postings of
people that are so rude and inconsiderate. We all do not feel that
way. Thank you Sprint for an excellent service and keep up the good
work. Your website continues to improve. If it goes down once in a
while, so what. They all do. And I know that for a fact. It is a
man made machine. It happens. My car breaks down as well as every
other thing that I own. I just get it fixed and move on. That is
life. Anyway, I am going to quit rambling. I feel better now.
    Thanks for listening.

So you don't know how they'll perform in crisis mode.

    Be thankful, very thankful.

When your service disappears, is cut off, or your biulling is messed up
is when you need them, and when many horror stories occur that we see
    posted here.

I have had a billing issue that was fixed immediately. Not sure I can
call my cell phone, that is also my home phone, a crisis situation.
Hopefully your life will become a little more stable.

I'm sorry, but I had to grin when I read that. "stable" isn't a word I'd use
    to describe him.

Notice I didn't use that word as a description but a prayer for him.

First of all, the pathetic excuse for a human needs a life to begin with
before he can have hope it will ever be stable.

I have been with them myself too for several years with no bad issues to deal with. If the service is so bad for some people why do they stay? What I think it is, they have nothing better to do with their lives but whine and complain. It's their way of self- gratification.

My wife loves her Sprint phone. Sprint actually outperforms Verizon in a
couple areas we frequent, and she loves to harrass me about that.

There are some policies I don't like, but the service itself rocks.

(...where we've used it, that is. The usual "All carriers have their
bad spots" disclaimer obviously applies here.)

First and foremost, I'm sorry abou the length, just getting some stuff off my chest...
I'm not going to quote here because I would have to quote from many threads and many posts, but I just want to say that I am glad that rationality still prevails in these technological times where people still can handle the idea that machines are made by people and that they mess up. And just as machines are made by people, so are corporations, and when a corporation introduces a product that has millions and millions of customers in its first 5 years, it is not going to be able to please everyone, at least not at first. I feel that if Srint had the attitude of some of the people that are posting complaint after complaint on this board, it would be the most f#*ked up organization ever. I've been with sprint over 5 years now, and yes there have been rocky times when my bill was $200 over what I expected, or I couldn't get service at my own house. But after five years, I couldn't expect any less. How many times have you had to take your car into the shop, or call a plumber, or go to the doctor in the last five years. Eventually everyone in america is going to be using a cell phone from only two or three phone providers once everything levels out in this industry. Kind of like at the beginning of the 20th century when the telephone was invented. I assure you people weren't acting like this toward the Bell Telephone Company when it first introduces home telephones a hundred years ago. People saw it as an opportunity to better their lives, not a requirement. The cell phone is the same thing. People are having too high expectations for something so new. Use the cell phone to the best of its possibilites and enjoy it. I for example started a ringers site just for fun, and my friends and family and people that have heard of it are loving it. I don't have to pay for it, and no other phone carrier can offer the types of ringers Sprint does. You should look into your services, and find out what you get. And stop looking for more than what you're paying for.

Basically, if you have a problem with sprint, deal with sprint. If they don't respond like you want them to, change your carrier. My friends always have complaints about sprint. They come to meand I look over their plan and every time they realize that Sprint didn't do anything wrong, they just didn't read their contract right. Sprint has better things to do that screw you over, like continuing their progress in creating the best wireless network available, and unless Sprint goes out of business, they can count on my business.

I cant think of another company that offers services that would motivate me to purchase a $400 product to use the services, but I bought the Sanyo5500 and I'm loving it and Sprint for making it possible for me to use that phone.
