Quick and dirty..I changed my plan on the 6th of January from 350 to 400
min & nights starting at 8pm rather than 9pm. Rep I spoke to ASSured me
plan would be effective immediately. In fact when I tried to check my
usuage on the website I got a message that it was unavailable due to a
change in my plan.
So I get the bill at the end of month and of course the change wasnt
reflected and I have overages as a result. Am going to talk with a
supervisor and see wtf is going on. I don't expect too much but lessoned
learned is that don't believe what you are told. Caveat emptor so to
speak.
I don't see any other wireless company having better c/s though, so we'll
see.

Sprint PCS is the worst, right down there with AT&T.

I had such a problem when I started my 500 minute service on a shared
plan. I called them and they credited my account for overages. No big
deal (at least, that problem wasn't).

Re: Yet another Sprintpcs billing story
I had a similar thing happen. I was in the SprintPCS store and noticed that
they had placards up promoting an area-wide 1000/$40 plan. Since 95% of my
long distance is made from my home state, I figured that plan was a better
deal than the free&clear 500/$50 plan I had. If I was going on vacation I
would just add on the $10 roaming option for that month. I called up and
changed to the 1000/$40 plan.
Then, I started using the phone with wild abandon, talking like I was at
home, calling old friends, even my mom was tiring of me. My *4 minute
usage report dwindled down to 11 minutes, and the month was only half over
before I called with that uneasy feeling to verify that the new plan was in
effect. It wasn't, and there were no notes in my file about my earlier
call to change the plan. Good thing I called. the CS "gave" me 180 minutes
to get me through the month, and offered me a 600/$50 plan with 8pm N&W and
let me keep my FIMF.
Trust........but Verify.
