I never have trouble in that area. There's a new cell site under
construction in Santa Monica right now. It's going to be on the
    Holiday Inn on Colorado St.

I'm also there about twice a week. Never have problems. The 405 is
solid the entire way from Orange County to Santa Monica.

Fine if you're only on the 405.

If there's no trouble then why would Sprint be spending money
    on a new cell site.

YES, Sprint is known for having problems propagating its signal indoors
due to the higher frequency PCS uses: 1900 MHz

The only thing sillier than flaming is adding your name and address to the
post. I wonder what your employer would think about this post.

So Sprint doesn't have service there? or doesn't have a good signal?

I understood "everywhere" to mean "everywhere Sprint has a usable signal".

Only an idiot would assume you could use a phone where your carrier doesn't
    have a usable signal.

....Oh. Wait, I forgot who I was talking to. So sorry; I'll stop now...

So when was the last time you were in Los Angeles? My wife's phone and
service work all over the Southland. Los Angeles County, Orange County,
San Bernardino County... You did notice the first line of my .sig, right?
It says, and I'll type this slowly so you can understand... APPLE -- VALLEY --
CALIFORNIA. 90 miles northeast of LA.

I'll bet a million bucks I've been in Los Angeles more recently than you,
especially since you are ignoring questions about when you've been in LA.

Perhaps to add capacity before the current site becomes overloaded. Carriers
    do that, y'know.

You made the bogus comment that your Sanyo 4700 works everywhere.

IT IS A SANYO 4700 THAT WORKED WELL IN TEXAS, THAT IS PROBLEMATIC EAST
    OF SANTA BARBARA.
