How to transer contacts from Sanyo 5150 to Treo 600????

I need help in a major way.

I need to transfer the phone numbers from my Sanyo 5150 to my new Treo 600.
Doing this manually would take FOREVER.

Is there any software that will facilitate this? I have ContactSync for my
5150, but there is no version of the software fro my Treo.

You could use SnapSync - http://futuredial.com/Products/P_SS.htm to grab
your phonebook and send it to the computer. You will need a cable to do
this. As to how to get that phonebook on the Treo, I have no clue, as I'm
not familiar with the Treo 600.

The Treo is a Palm OS device, and uses the Palm Desktop software on your PC.
You might be able to copy or transfer the info from the ContactSync PC
client to the Palm Desktop addressbook and then sync it with the Treo.

You can....

On the Palm address "contacts" menu there is an "import" feature. It
will import a comma delimited file.

What a pain in the arse.

First of all, ContactSync will export files, but not to a CSV file. You have
to use IT wizardry to get a fil that the Palm Desktop will import. The
problem is that when you export from ContactSync the records do not all
match so when you import to Palm there are major errors to fix.

Then, AMAZINGLY, the Palm software doesn't let you import numbers into the
"mobile" field! You have to map each contact's mobile number to another
field, then after importing you have to re-map those numbers to the mobile
field. This has to be done one at a time. SERIOUS pain.

I wish there was easier way. Anyone?

There was a version of the Contact Sync software that could sync with
Outlook (I used to use it at work to do phoneboko swaps between models
a few years ago).

Sync the 5150 with Outlook, then use the Palm desktop software to try
to import the PST fule from Outlook into the Palm device.

Is there a way to do this so that just the contacts from my 5150 transfer to
my Treo? I don't want all my Outlook contacts transfered to the Treo.
